I cannot express enough how delighted I am with the exceptional training provided by Sarah from Peace & Paws for my Labrador, Arnie. Sarah's expertise and dedication have transformed him into a well-mannered and well-behaved companion, making our lives so much easier and more enjoyable. Sarah demonstrates a genuine passion for her work and a profound understanding of dog behaviour. She took the time to assess Arnie's individual needs and crafted a personalised training program that targeted his specific challenges. One of the primary concerns we had was Arnie's behavior on the lead. Before the training, walks were often a chaotic experience, but now, I can say that walks have become a pleasure. He walks politely by my side, responding to commands promptly, and I no longer have to worry about him pulling on the leash. Another significant improvement was his reaction to visitors at our front door. Arnie used to get really excited and try to jump up on guests, which, now that we have 2 kids, we wanted to address. Thanks to Peace & Paws' patient and effective training techniques, Arnie has learned to greet visitors politely, without losing his composure. One of the most impressive achievements was Arnie's ability to resist the temptation of food on countertops. Before the training, he would constantly be on the lookout for any opportunity to snatch a treat, but now he can control his impulses and ignore food that may be within reach. Sarah is not only a skilled professional but she's also extremely passionate about her work and built a strong bond with Arnie very quickly. Her positive reinforcement methods were instrumental in building his confidence and trust. Throughout the training process, Sarah maintained excellent communication with us, sending us training recap emails and always made herself available via WhatsApp if we had any follow-up questions. I 100% recommend Peace & Paws to any pet owner seeking reliable and effective training for their furry friends. We contacted Sarah to help us out with our 3 year old goldendoodle and we are so glad we did. Sarah was able to help us with everything that we asked for. Kobi jumped on everyone who walked in to the house and was full of excitement and there was no calming her down before we met Sarah. She pulled on the lead and was so excited to meet every new dog and person we met out on a walk which included her jumping up on everyone and we had no control over her whatsover, she was a major counter surfer and her recall wasn’t strong at all, and we are so so grateful for Sarah coming into our house and showing us the right ways to train Kobi. Every question we had for her she was able to help us through everything and we have all of her notes from every session to guide us through the rest of our life with Kobi. We could not dream to have had a better puppy trainer than Sarah! As a family of four, with two young children, we decided that home based training sessions would suit us best . Our little rascal joined our family when he was only 8 weeks old. By the time we met with Sarah, we experienced what puppies do best: nipping, chowing, chowing, chowing, nipping & chowing…crying, barking, nipping, toilet training…all that fun 😅 but also lots of joy, cuddles & laughter, no mention puppy eyes ❤️ Sarah, through her passion, genuine enthusiasm & expertise has guided each of us on how to manage our energetic bundle of joy: Roscoe. She showed us how to encourage positive & desirable behaviour, which was introduced through fun like games. Out little Roscoe really enjoyed every session & absolutely adored Sarah. It was exactly what we needed. She gave us step by step directions & her instructions were very clear, followed with helpful and informative notes. Sarah also gave us lots of useful suggestions on toys & treats, which have been very beneficial - especially for keeping our shoes safe! 😂 Sarah is a great listener and observer. Through her patience & positive attitude she even managed to give confidence and to engaged our 14 year old who hasn’t been keen on dogs . When I asked our 9 year old daughter what she thought about Sarah, she said: “ Sarah is kind and talkative. She explains things really very well. She makes Roscoe happy”. Trainings with Sarah were fantastic. We would highly recommend Sarah to anyone. She is professional, full of knowledge & passion, has natural & positive approach towards others and her job.
